Webinar Forum About Effectiveness and sustainability of positive discrimination policies in the favor of women in the Arab region

The Arab Women Organization will hold a Webinar on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 12:00 noon Cairo time, to present the results and recommendations of the case studies conducted in five countries.

The Arab Women Organization, in cooperation with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, initiated a comparative field study among Arab countries on positive discrimination policies in favor of women (quotas) aimed at assessing the effectiveness and sustainability of positive discrimination policies in favor of women in the Arab region.

Top-notch researchers have been commissioned to prepare case studies on the subject, in Jordan - Tunisia - Algeria - Lebanon - Morocco. The organization also commissioned an Arab expert to prepare an analytical reading of the five studies.
