AWO Director-General Meets with Libya’s Permanent Representative to Strengthen Cooperation

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Director-General of the Arab Women Organization (AWO), Prof. Fadia Kiwan, visited the Permanent Mission of the State of Libya to the League of Arab States. During the visit, she met with H.E. Ambassador Abdel Mottaleb Idris Al-Thabet, Permanent Representative of Libya to the League of Arab States. The meeting focused on reviewing various avenues for cooperation and strengthening the institutional partnership between the State of Libya and the AWO.

During the session, the Director-General expressed her sincere appreciation to H.E. the Ambassador for his instrumental role in actively promoting and ensuring the sustainability of the collaborative efforts between the State of Libya and the AWO.
