The 8th Meeting of the Advisory Committee for Arab Youth

With the participation of 11 of distinguished Arab youth; the Arab Youth Committee of the Arab Women Organization launched its 8th annual meeting on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, via Zoom application.


The opening session headed by Prof. Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director General of the Arab Women Organization.
Her Excellency stressed the importance of the role of youth in delivering the organization's message towards supporting and promoting status of women and girls in their countries, stressing that the organization supports the committee and attaches great importance to its work and its innovative suggestions and ideas.


The meeting includes three working sessions. The first and second sessions discussing the developments related to the status of women in Arab countries, as well as the most important youth initiatives that took place in 2021. The third session discusses various topics, including: the effects of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic on the status of Arab women, and the Regional Campaign to Promote The participation of Women in Political Life and Preventing Violence Against Women.


The Advisory Committee for Arab Youth is one of the main structural bodies of the Arab Women Organization, established in 2012. It is concerned with discussing women and girls’ issues and presenting suggestions and recommendations in this regard.
