Significant Benchmarks in Arab Jurisprudence
 
The project aims at highlighting the judicial provisions that laid the foundations of legal principles which contributed to the preservation and protection of the rights of Arab women within the Arab member states.  
 
The project covers the period from 1990-2010 where experts were assigned to prepare a country study focusing on the judicial impact of gender issues on women in their respective countries.  
 
Within this context, country studies have already been prepared, and a regional study is being prepared for the project. 
AWO is developing a database of the project to include the provisions compiled by the experts, where data is classified according to different search criteria (year of the provision, parties Involved, subject of the provision...).
