Rural Women and the General knowledge of Climate Change

As a part of its educational series in the field of empowering rural women, the Arab Women Organization (AWO) is holding a workshop on "Rural Women and the General knowledge of Climate Change", on March 22, 2022, via Zoom technology. 
The workshop comes as a part of AWO supporting program to the winner association in its competition entitled "Green Hands", the association "Learning from Work", which is an association directed by rural women and working in the field of agriculture. 
The workshop discusses the concept of climate change and its effects on rural women and food security in the Arab region and the challenges of rural women to adapt to the effects of climate change.
Prof. Mervat Sedky, Regional Coordinator for the "Green Hands" Project, and Head of Research at the Rural Women's Department at the Agricultural and Rural Development Research Institute, conducts the training work.
