Arab Women Organization Launches
"From Producer to Digital Market: Empowering Rural Women in Sustainable Agricultural Marketing"
Tomorrow for Jordanian Women
2/9/2026
Tomorrow, the Arab Women Organization (AWO) will convene a three-day virtual training course entitled 'From Producer to Digital Market – Empowering Rural Women in Sustainable Agricultural Marketing,' scheduled to run from February 10 to 12, 2026. The training features the participation of a cohort of beneficiaries from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, organized under the close supervision and follow-up of the AWO.
This course is held as part of the AWO’s endeavors to build regional cadres of Arab female trainers in the field of agricultural and rural economic empowerment. It also aligns with the Organization's commitment to operationalizing its regional programs through national-level workshops executed under its direct supervision across several Arab nations.
The program aims to empower rural women to develop and market their agricultural and food products using modern digital tools, while enhancing their market access to ultimately improve incomes and guarantee long-term economic sustainability.
The training is delivered by Eng. Esraa Ferdous—an agricultural engineer, researcher in green entrepreneurship, and Director of the Agri-Business Incubator at the Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association in Jordan. She will provide a comprehensive training curriculum that bridges theoretical concepts with practical applications, customized to meet the distinct needs of rural women and small-scale project owners.
The targeted audience encompasses rural women active in small agricultural and food enterprises, home-based producers, aspiring agri-entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking to enhance their digital marketing skills.
This workshop marks the second edition in a series of training programs implemented by the Organization within the pilot phase of its Training of Trainers (ToT) initiative. This phase is designed to test various training methodologies and bolster the readiness of qualified female cadres to champion rural empowerment efforts.
