The Arab Women Organization (AWO) will participate tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in a regional webinar organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the Arab Forum for Rural Extension Services (AFRAS).
The webinar, titled "Scaling Up Digital Rural Extension Services in the Near East and North Africa (NENA) Region: Opportunities, Innovations, and Practical Recommendations," will be held virtually via Zoom.
The AWO's participation will be featured in the third session, titled "Practical Recommendations for Developing a Regional Roadmap for Digital Rural Extension Services." The organization will contribute to a key panel discussion centered on the theme: "How do we ensure digital RAS reaches marginalized and underserved groups?"
This session focuses on identifying strategic pathways to guarantee that digital extension services effectively reach those most in need, including women, youth, and remote rural communities, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital agricultural transformation.
