AWO will hold an educational session on "Women’ issues and Gender in the Arab Region “in Hurghada, Egypt on 15 and 16 May 2019.
The educational session focuses on the Arab women's movement since its start, its most important symbols and its national role, and the development of its agenda.
It also seeks to shed light on AWO and the role of First Ladies in its establishment, and it reviews the objectives and policies of AWO.
The course also introduces the concept of gender through the presentation of gender theory, and the meaning of gender mainstreaming in government policies and programs.
