Arab Women Organization Convenes Meeting of Permanent Advisory Committee on Arab Youth via Zoom Today:

 CAIRO – The Arab Women Organization (AWO) is virtually convening a meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee on Arab Youth via Zoom today, Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025. The committee is one of the key advisory bodies of the AWO Executive Council.

The Committee, whose membership comprises young men and women from each Arab member state, is mandated to propose mechanisms for operationalizing the Organization's strategy to enhance youth contributions in supporting the role of Arab women in societal development. The establishment of a dedicated youth committee within the Organization’s advisory framework stems from a deep recognition of the vital role played by young people of both genders in shaping the future and influencing cultural norms, which ultimately have the greatest impact on women's issues.
