AWO holds Arab Youth Dialogue On "promoting the role of women in peacekeeping and activating Security Council 1325" in Morocco

 AWO holds the Arab Youth Dialogue on "Strengthening the Role of Women in Peace building and Activating Security Council Resolution 1325" in cooperation with the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Equality and Social Development in Morocco, UN Women – Regional Office for Arab States and the Government of Japan, from 18-20 July 2019 in Marrakech, Morocco. This is part of AWO’s program for Arab youth.

The dialogue aims to create a generation of leaders who are proficient in dealing with the crucial skills of communication and persuasion.
Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director-General of AWO, stated that the dialogue contributes to the training of Arab youth on how to prepare advocacy campaigns to promote the role of women in local communities in general and to activate Security Council Resolution 1325 in particular.
The dialogue includes members of AWO’s Permanent Advisory Committee for Arab Youth from (12) Arab countries.
