Experimental Training for Male and Female Teachers' Guide

for Gender Equality in Educational Process

The Arab Women Organization (AWO) is holding an experimental training for a male and female teacher’s guide for gender equality in the educational process, during the period of 6-8 April, 2021,

AWO had assigned a team of specialists in gender and education issues from Arab countries to develop the guide.

The (Teachers' Guide for Gender Equality in the Educational Process) is a one   component of the “Education for the Future Program” that the organization has adopted since 2019 with the aim of dedicating the values ​​of gender equality in the education process in all its stages.

30 participants should be participating in the training, along with representatives from the Ministries of education and institutes and colleges of education in a number of Arab member states.

The training will be held virtually for three days, to discuss the contents of the guide, which include the definition of the concept of gender and its relationship to human rights, the concept of gender justice, and how to monitor and combat gender discrimination in the educational process.

 The training includes interactive exercises that will be tested and then developed to be suitable for training.

AWO Publications
