The conclusion of youth dialogue in Morocco

AWO today concluded the activities of the Arab youth dialogue on "promoting the role of women in peacekeeping and activating Security Council 1325" organized by AWO in cooperation with the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Equality and Social Development in Morocco, UN Women – Regional Office for Arab States and the Government of Japan, which held from 18-20 July 2019 in Marrakech / Morocco.
The closing session was attended by Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director-General of AWO, and Mr. Arabi Thabet, representative of the Ministry of Morocco.
Dr. Fadia Kiwan thanked Bassima Hakkaoui the minister of Family, Solidarity, Equality and Social Development in Morocco for her cooperation with AWO in holding the Youth Dialogue at its current session, and this is based on the belief of AWO and the Ministry of the importance of the youth’s role in order to raise the Arab societies.
She also thanked the participating youth and the trainers, Ms. Tina Fam and Mr. Hisham Zkag for their efforts to convey their experiences to the youth and to bring out the dialogue in the desired manner. She also thanked the Government of Japan for their interest in the role of youth, combating violence and improving the image of women.
At the conclusion of the session, certificates were distributed to the participants.
