AWO congratulates Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak on Emirati women winning one-third of the National Electoral Assembly

Dr. Fadia Kiwan, Director-General of AWO, sent a congratulatory letter to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (mother of the Nation), President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and President of the Family Development Foundation on the occasion of the victory of Emirati women by one- third of the National Electoral Assembly

"We received with great joy that Seven women won the National Assembly elections in the UAE, representing one-third of the National Assembly.
Thanks to you and your generous initiatives and good role models, women in the UAE have taken leadership positions and gained the trust of the people and the state.
We congratulate you on this victory, and we expect the progress of women to continue in the UAE, as in the Arab countries, thanks to your wise leadership.
