Proceeding from the Cairo Declaration of the Arab Women's Summit first meeting in November, the Conference (November) 2000, and in response to the call of the first Egyptian "Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak", jointly organized with the National Council for Women in Egypt, and the Hariri Foundation in Lebanon and the Arab League and with the participation of nineteen Arab countries , the governments of the countries members of the League of Arab States are signatories to this Convention: aware of the prestige enjoyed by the woman and her nanny maker of generations, and the important role they play in the family as the basic cell of Arab society. And a desire to enhance cooperation among these countries in the field of the development status of Arab women and elevate it.
