| These are grants of US $5,000 each, which aim at providing financial support to social research specialists in Arab countries who wish to write theses leading to Master’s degrees or Ph.D. about the status of Arab Women, in their respective areas of specialization. Seven series of research grants have been offered up till now. Five grants were awarded each time and were distributed annually in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Starting 2012, the Organization grants seven awards every other year, each worth US $5,000 in each session. One of these grants will be allocated to the best field research proposal on the status of Arab Women in Armed Conflicts. |
